What protection and information management skills are required?
The competencies required to undertake PIM have been outlined and agreed to by members of the PIM community.
For example, colleagues undertaking PIM should have:

- Data and information management knowledge and skills
- Collaboration skills that promote contribution from partners, inclusivity and consensus
- The ability to critically assess information, data and communicate with diverse stakeholders
