IASC Operational Guidance on Data Responsibility

In this webinar, held on August 10 2021, we explored the potential of the IASC Operational Guidance on Data Responsibility to positively shape our safe, ethical and effective management of data in humanitarian response. An expert panel composed of protection and information management practitioners discussed the implications of the operational guidance on the protection sector and how they plan to implement it into their work.

PIM in Practice Launch

On 24 March 2021, “PIM in Practice” onlines resources were launched during this one-hour webinar and discusion. PIM practitioners shared their experience with facilitating PIM capacity building trainings online, developing protection monitoring systems, and using PIM to create guidelines for safe and ethical data sharing.

What’s New in PIM? 

In this Webinar, held on 13 January 2021, we learn how the PIM Conceptual Framework is used in a variety of new initiatives, such as the creation of a joint regional protection monitoring system “P21”, the development of a Needs Identification and Analysis Framework (NIAF), in tools “DTM and Partners Toolkit”, and in the Protection Case Management Guidance.

UNHCR Annual Consultations with NGOs 2019: Continuing the Discussion, Follow-up Webinars

In 2019, UNHCR’s Annual Consultations with NGOs (3-5 July 2019) themed ”Working together, better”, which had a particular focus on data and evidence with a workstream titled “Evidence for Action: Connecting people and data in support of evidence informed outcomes”.
